Your student may be a grade ahead of or behind our scheduled product releases. That can happen with any new grade-leveled curricula while it is in development--we understand that can be disappointing.
Sometimes, it is possible to become part of a pilot program to test the curriculum, but pilot testing typically occurs 2 years before the curriculum comes to market because publishing each grade level is a three-year process. If your child is one or two years past the published grade level, the pilot program is probably over.
If you find yourself in this situation with the publication schedule for Math with Confidence, take a look at the author’s recommendations for alternative curricula that might suit your student. Kate Snow has thought a lot about this over the years, and makes good recommendations on her website for alternative curricula and adaptations you can make to help your student excel.
We are creating and publishing Math With Confidence because we believe in its excellence. But the fact is that millions of homeschool students have learned arithmetic before now using other curricula. Your children will be fine with a curriculum that suits you and your family and that you use faithfully.
We're sorry we couldn't make this curriculum work for you, but we hope you and your family will be able to enjoy our other curricula, including Kate's Math Facts That Stick series.
