The Story of the World, our elementary and intermediate history curriculum, is non-sectarian and does not promote any particular religion.
Religious beliefs and stories are part of history, and are discussed as part of world history, usually like this: “Here is what the _____ people believed about ______,” or “Here is a story that the _____ told about their gods.”
The Story of the World includes information about many world religions, to show the beliefs of different peoples. The Story of the World, Vol. 1: The Ancients, begins with the first nomads.
