How Is the Curriculum Structured?
- Math With Confidence is a fun, hands-on, and straightforward curriculum that builds kids’ confidence in learning math and helps parents teach math with confidence, too. The curriculum covers all the essential grade-level topics in short, hands-on lessons.
- The Instructor Guide’s scripted, open-and-go format makes it easy to teach math consistently. The friendly notes, tips, and illustrations help you excel and grow as a teacher. The lessons focus on one concept at a time and offer continual review. Optional activities extend the math concepts into daily life, giving the student additional practice.
- The Student Workbooks reinforce the instruction and previously acquired skills. Itamar Katz colorfully illustrates the simple, beautiful, age-appropriate workbooks.
- Each grade level is organized into several units, each focusing on one topic for 2-4 weeks. Each week has five lessons; the fifth lesson is optional for enrichment and review. Short and straightforward daily lessons have three parts: memory work and review, hands-on teaching, and workbook time.
How many levels will there be?

Do you sell a PDF of the blackline masters of the game boards, ten-frames, etc.?
- We make these available to you at no charge. To download a copy, go to the product page in the store and click the button under the cover image on the title's product page. You can reprint as often as you like for the students in your household family. This download does not include the practice pages.
Do you have placement tests?
- This article from our website will help you determine the right level for your children. We also provide extended samples on the website; look at the sample to see which level best fits your child/ren. The samples are on each product's page - click the sample button under the cover image. You can find additional details in the Scope and Sequence.
What do I need to buy for each grade level?
- You must buy the Instructor Guide for the teacher and the Student Workbook(s) for each student.
- In most cases, you will use simple household objects for manipulatives. Look at the Sample on each title's product page (or read the Scope and Sequence) to see the supplies needed for each grade level.
What formats will be available?
- Paperback Instructor Guides and Student Workbooks are available from our online store and other vendors.
- PDF Instructor Guides and Student Workbooks are available only from our online store. The Instructor Guide prints in black and white; the Student Workbook PDFs for Kindergarten and First Grades include printer-optimized color and grayscale options so you can choose the best printing option.

I live outside the U.S., and/or I prefer the metric system. Can I still use Math With Confidence?
- Yes. The curriculum provides options for teaching your student using any form of coin as well as standard units of measurement like centimeters and meters. We make the supplementary pages available online so those wishing to use the metric system can access these lessons.
